Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi both have the win-at-all-costs mentality, Francisco Trincao has said. He recently had his say while speaking to the press, and fans have been reacting.
According to him, while some think Ronaldo is the only demanding one on and off the pitch, Messi is also quite demanding too and he always expects a lot from his teammates.
Trincao added that playing alongside Messi and Pique at Barcelona was a dream come true because he grew up watching them play football.
His words, “Both are very demanding. Maybe Cristiano seems a bit more demanding, but they both want to win at all costs.
On playing with Messi and Pique at Camp Nou, “It’s always a shock, because we’re not used to it…They are players that I grew up watching play and it ends up being quite a shock, but they have always treated me well and I have adapted naturally. They end up being normal people.”
