I would bet on Lionel Messi signing a new contract at Barcelona, Xavi has said. He recently revealed that he expects the Argentine to put pen to paper once financial issues at Camp Nou are ironed out.
According to him, Messi definitely needs Barcelona and vice versa, and he believes both parties are happy with their footballing relationship.
Xavi added that he wishes Messi the very best career-wise, as a friend and as a Barcelona supporter.
