Manchester United midfielder, Bruno Fernandes has come out to say that Daniel James didn’t mean to assist him for his 2nd goal vs Real Sociedad in the Europa League. Bruno recently revealed that he doubts the Welshman intended to put the ball in his path, even if it was an assist regardless.
According to him, 4-0 is a good result for MUFC, but the players must be aware of what the Spanish club can do in the 2nd leg.
He added that his target is to score the most goals he can this season, while assisting his team-mates to score as well.
His words, “I was expecting the touch from Dan James to me. When he controlled the ball, I think he was trying to control it, but I’ll give him an assist,”
“I saw the ball close to me and I think on these occasions the keeper is coming out, if you kick it well on the first touch it’s difficult to react and luckily for me it was a goal.”
