Nicolas Jackson Will Resume Scoring Again Soon – Enzo Maresca

Chelsea manager, Enzo Maresca has come out to rule out the possibility of the club signing a new striker in January. He recently defended Nicolas Jackson amid his goal drought, and fans have been reacting.

According to him, he does not think Chelsea’s attack needs a major addition this month because if they are a little more lucky in the forthcoming games, they will definitely score more goals.

Maresca added that Jackson might not be scoring much at the moment, but he keeps working hard for the team.

His words, “No, because I think by being a little bit more lucky, we can convert and can score more goals. It’s not about [signing] a ‘killer’. At this moment, the one that’s probably missing the goal is Nico. But the way he is working is fantastic, and we don’t have any doubt that Nico is soon going to start scoring goals.”
