Senator representing Gombe south senatorial district, Joshua Lidani, has urged Nigerians to go back to God to end the country’s problems.
Lidani said that Nigeria is spiritually challenged and needs God’s mercy.
He said, “A lot of progress has been recorded in spite of the challenges. Nigeria is spiritually challenged.
“With all these crimes, where is the spirituality in us? We should come back to God, so God can have mercy on us.”
Ike Ekweremadu beeged the lawmakers during the session to focus on the values of justice in the country as it celebrates its 57th independence anniversary on Sunday, October 1.
