Nigerians have been urged to use the opportunity presented by the 2015 general elections judiciously by voting out the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Former Head of State, General Muhammadu Buhari (rtd), who is expected to declare his intention to run for presidency under the All Progressives Congress (APC) on October 8, made the call in Ado Ekiti on Wednesday, while commissioning the 12,000-seater Ekiti Parapo Square.
“It is no doubt that Nigerians have been traumatized under the PDP leadership and Nigeria will be in trouble if we carry on the way the PDP has been doing in Nigeria,” he said.
Buhari expressed strong disapproval of the alleged tyranny of the PDP in the country, saying eligible voters can help put a stop to it by voting the ruling party out come 2015.
He therefore urged them to collect their permanent voter’s cards to ensure they participate in the election.
Buhari also tasked elites across the country to influence the less privileged masses and educate them on why it is important that they vote.
