Manchester City defender, Ruben Dias has come out to suggest that the City Ground pitch was too dry following his side’s 1-0 loss at Nottingham Forest. He recently had his say while speaking to the press, and fans have been reacting.
According to him, the pitch being too dry made things more difficult for the players vs Nottingham Forest, and he remembers that this was the case last season as well.
Dias added that it was an identical situation at Fulham too, and that can really affect performances.
His words, “With the pitch dry it makes things a bit more difficult. It was [the same] last season and at Fulham too. It depends on the weather as well and goodwill from everyone to make the game fast.”
