Special Project Director, Office of Delta State Governor, Asaba, Chief Sunny Onuesoke, has warned members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state to mind their utterances over the governorship election dispute at the tribunal.
Onuesoke gave the warning in Abuja while speaking to journalists. He warned an aide to the Delta APC governorship candidate, Chief Emerhor O’tega, Mr. Fred Oghenesive, whom he said had been making statements on an issue he knows nothing about. He, therefore, advised him to refrain from making unguarded statements.
Onuesoke also pointed out that apportioning blame or indicting the defendants and Delta State officials amounted to jumping the gun and engaging in media trial.
Onuesoke, also the Delta State acting spokesman for the PDP, restated his implicit confidence in the integrity of the tribunal to deliver a fair verdict and not yield to innuendoes, manipulations, propaganda and insinuations.
According to him, if there is a party that has lost faith in the judiciary, it is the APC.
