Before his term as governor of Ebonyi State ends, Francis Nwifuru has pledged to cut poverty in the state by half (50%) overall and in rural regions specifically.
Mr. Elijah Oko-Udu, Nwifuru’s state commissioner for Skills and Job Creation, made the announcement to the media shortly after a town hall meeting with stakeholders to assess the appointment of his aides.
He promised that during his brief term in office, he would work to end poverty and improve agriculture and education.
The governor of Ebonyi State, Francis Nwifuru, has pledged to cut poverty in half within his first term in office through the state’s ministry of skills and job development, he stated.
Soon, with the help of my ministry, my state will have an advantage over its Federation counterparts.
You are aware that Ebonyi State has a poor reputation when it comes to things like education and agriculture, but that will change by the end of my term in office.
“With Francis Nwifuru at the helm, Ebonyi State can now hold its own against other states.”
He also praised the governor for his efforts to include everyone who has a stake in the state’s well-being.
