The Leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has predicted that the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, will face disgrace in Abuja.
The cleric issued this warning on Tuesday in light of Wike’s ongoing conflict with Rivers State Governor, Sim Fubara.
In a statement signed by his media aide, Osho Oluwatosin, Primate Ayodele described Wike’s battle with Governor Fubara as an attempt to challenge God, cautioning the FCT Minister to end the political crisis or risk being forgotten in Nigeria’s political landscape.
This warning comes amid an escalating power tussle in Rivers State, where Wike, the former governor, and Fubara, his successor, are locked in a political standoff.
Primate Ayodele cautioned that using Rivers State as a battleground for 2027 politics would have dire consequences.
The cleric predicted that Wike’s relationship with the All Progressives Congress (APC) will deteriorate, causing internal conflicts within the party.
“Wike will tear APC apart, and there is going to be a fight between Wike and top APC members. He will be disgraced in Abuja,” Ayodele said.
He also warned that if Wike continues on his current path, he risks being excluded from the political arrangements for 2027. “If he isn’t careful, he will not be part of the people that will arrange the 2027 politics.
He is fighting God through Fubara, and if he doesn’t desist, politics will leave him, and he will be forgotten,” Ayodele stated.
Although Primate Ayodele acknowledged that Wike may not heed his warnings, he foresees that troubles will eventually force the FCT Minister to learn.
He further prophesied that the crisis in Rivers State will escalate, leading to significant consequences, including the potential loss of a prominent figure. “The judgment of God is coming to Rivers State; it will take one and leave one,” he added.
