Minister of Aviation, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode, has said that the people who attacked protesters in Abuja were shouting “Sai baba” and going about with President Muhammadu Buhari’s image as placards.
In a recent statement by Fani-Kayode, he said that Prince Deji Adeyanu was attacked by close to 150-strong crowd of young, aggressive and drug-crazed youths.
He then hailed Prince Deji, saying he cannot be intimidated or broken and he will never die before his time.
His words, “He shall stand to the end and continue to fight for the voiceless and the oppressed. He is a Prince of the Kingdom, a leading light of his generation and I am very proud of him.”
He also begged the government in power to stay away from violating the fundamental rights of people because “It will only strengthen our hand, deepens our resolve, hardens our hearts and swells our ranks.”
