At its meeting held at the CAF Headquarters in Cairo, Egypt on 27th April, 2014, the Disciplinary Panel of the Confederation of African Football considered all documents concerning the comments of the Vice- President of RAJA Casablanca, Mustapha Dahnane, about CAF.
After the return match between AC Horoya and RAJA Casablanca in the Orange CAF Champions League, Mustapha Dahnane accused CAF and its officials, clearly saying that the club AC Horoya “bought” CAF officials but proffered no evidence.
Based on the CAF Disciplinary Code section 82, 98 and 146, the Disciplinary Panel of CAF decided to impose the following sanctions on the Vice-President of RAJA, Mustapha Dahnane:
Suspension from any football related activity at the continental level for a period of one (1) year, and this suspension will be subject to extension at the international level and a fine of US$30,000.
