It’s official. Rita Ora has found a new home at Atlantic Records.
The British singer, who was previously signed to Roc Nation, has inked a worldwide recording contract with the label and plans to release new material later this year.
With her new contract, Ora’s excitement about moving forward in her music career is overflowing. ‘The next chapter is going to be incredible!’ she said via Instagram.
The 25-year-old singer sued for release from Roc Nation last year, claiming she was ‘orphaned’ by Jay Z’s label, who released her 2012 debut ‘Ora’ internationally. Roc Nation filed a countersuit earlier this year before both parties came to an agreement. The singer and label finally parted ways in early June with a settlement.
This follows a Billboard report that Rita signed a deal with Atlantic’s parent company, Warner Music.
