A return to Real Madrid would be the best option for Cristiano Ronaldo this summer, his Portugal teammate, Jose Fonte has said. He recently had his say while speaking to the press, and fans have been reacting.
According to him, one thing is certain, Cristiano Ronaldo loves the UEFA Champions League, so a return to Real Madrid will surely be the best for him at this point.
Fonte added that Ronaldo knows how he has to perform to win Ballons d’Or, and he just wants to remain competitive.
His words, “Would he go back to Madrid? That would be, for him, the best.”
“If they want him back or not, that’s a different question.”
“What I do know is that the man loves the Champions League.”
