Former Senator representing Kaduna Central, Shehu Sani, has criticized the political situation in Rivers State, describing it as uniquely complex and unpredictable compared to other states in Nigeria.
In a post shared on his verified Facebook page, Sani remarked that Rivers State stands out among the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory as having a political climate that defies conventional political theories and practices.
“Rivers State is the only state in Nigeria with a complex political climate that defies all the known and unknown laws of political thought and science,” the former senator wrote.
He further highlighted the state’s political contradictions, stating, “If you are in APC, it means you are in PDP, and those in PDP mean they are in APC. It’s like eating eba with sugar and eating bread with vegetable soup.”
The former lawmaker’s remarks reflect the often-blurred lines and alliances between political parties in Rivers State, which have sparked widespread debate and confusion in the country’s political landscape.
Rivers State has been a focal point of political drama in recent years, with shifting loyalties and alliances frequently shaping its political narrative.
Sani’s comments add to ongoing conversations about the state’s unique political dynamics.
