Manchester United defender, Jonny Evans has come out to admit that speculation surrounding Erik ten Hag’s future is affecting he and his teammates. He recently had his say while speaking to the press, and fans have been reacting.
According to him, the recent reports claiming the manager could be sacked at any time has played on the minds of the players, and that has impacted performances in recent weeks.
Evans added that he would always be ready to give everything for Manchester United football club.
His words, “That was the important thing to show the spirit in the team. Everyone competed as much as they could. That’s a pleasing thing to see. You never have everyone available throughout the season. It’s important everyone coming in is ready to go when they’re ready.
It does affect the players. It’s on our minds too. I think the more experience I’ve got in my career I’ve made sure I do everything you I to be ready and give everything I can to the team.”
