At least seven people have been reported dead after three suicide bombers attacked a village in Maiduguri, Borno State.
A mother, her two children, and four other persons were reportedly killed in the attack which occurred on the night of Saturday, March 18.The attackers were said to have been attempting to infiltrate Maiduguri through Umarari village in Molai General Area when they were challenged by a Civilian Joint Task Force personnel.
When they realised their cover may have been compromised, they fled in different directions and detonated explosives strapped to their bodies while on the run.
Eight other persons were injured in the attack and are said to be recieving treatment in a local hospital.
