Following President Bola Tinubu’s victory at the Supreme Court, the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) extended their best wishes for a productive and fulfilling term in office.
Sheriff Oladejo, who serves as the Secretary for the NNPP in Lagos State, disclosed this information during an interview on Friday with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Lagos.
Tinubu’s triumph at the Supreme Court, in his opinion, will allow him to devote his whole focus to the responsibilities of governing.
“As a political party, we did not go to court for reasons that are best known to us, but other political parties have the absolute right to have approached the court if they felt they had genuine grievances,” the speaker said. “We did not go to court for reasons that are best known to us.”
“It is essential to take into account that all of the parties have used up their privileges, and the supreme court has rendered its decision,” the judge said.
“It is our sincere hope that from this point on, the president will devote his whole attention to the job of governing.
Oladejo stated that the party wished President Bola Tinubu and his party “a safe landing in piloting the affairs of our people.” “As a party, we wish President Bola Tinubu and his party a safe landing.”
Tinubu’s election on February 25 was validated by the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal’s decision, which was upheld by the Supreme Court on Thursday. The decision was upheld by the Supreme Court.
Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, who was running as the candidate for the People’s Democratic Party in the election, and Mr. Peter Obi, who was running as the candidate for the Labour Party, both had their appeals against the judgement of the tribunal rejected by the court.
