Victor Moses has expressed his desire to stay at Chelsea and make his mark this season under new manager, Antonio Conte.
The 25-year-old Nigeria international has found playing time at Chelsea hard to come by since joining the Blues from Wigan for a transfer fee of around £9 million four years ago.
But Moses is now hoping that he will get his chance under Chelsea’s Italian gaffer when the season commences next month.
However, Moses recognises that he will have to put in a decent performance to worm his way into the heart of Conte to have a chance of becoming a first-team player at Stamford Bridge in the coming months.
“It’s a very big season for me, there is a new manager here. I have to show my talent and make sure I work hard to get into his thoughts. I will keep working hard and see what happens after that.
“We have a new manager and he knows what he wants from us. We are still getting used to the way he wants us to play, but it’s going to be good,” Moses said.
In his four-year spell at Chelsea, Moses has spent the last three seasons on loan at Liverpool, Stoke City and West Ham which has been responsible for him making only 12 English Premier League starts for the London club.
