Nigeria international forward Victor Moses is targeting more goals this season after scoring in Chelsea’s 3-2 win over Bristol Rovers in the English Football League Cup (EFL Cup).
Moses netted in the 31st minute to give Chelsea a 2-0 lead in the game played on Tuesday, August 23.
Speaking after the game, Moses says he wants to enjoy himself this season and score more goals.
“The most important thing is go out there and enjoy yourself and score goals at the same time,” the forward told Chelsea TV.
“I will keep on adding more goals to my game which is the most important thing.”
Chelsea face Burnley next in the Premier League on Saturday, August 27 and Moses believes it’s going to be a difficult game.
“There’s no easy game in the Premier League. It’s 11 against 11,” Moses also said.
“It’s going to be a hard game for us on Saturday. But the most important thing is to work hard as a team and make sure we get the three points.
“We’ve won three in a row now, so we’ve got the confidence and belief. And we’ve got quality players that can win us games collectively and individually.
“We will keep on working together as a team and make sure we get the three points come Saturday.”
After spending most of his time at Chelsea on loan, Moses is set to remain at the club this season and fight for a place in the team under new coach, Antonio Conte.
