As a result, Visionstate and CGSS have entered into an agreement for Visionstate to act as the preferred supplier of the Washroom Attendant Notification Digital Aid (“WANDA”), at many CGSS client facilities.
Compass Group provides premium support services under its sector brands: Crothall Healthcare, Eurest Services, and SSC, in both Canada and the United States. The WANDA is a product that will separate their service offering from the competition.

The WANDA transforms a regular restroom into a smart restroom. Visionstate Inc., known for its innovative uses of interactive portals, has developed this interactive touchscreen device with an antimicrobial overlay, to facilitate effective management of restroom resources while tracking those resources and compiling information through service logs and alerts.
Additionally, since the touchscreen is mounted immediately outside a restroom, it allows patrons to notify management of any service requirements in a restroom with a touch of the screen, without dialing a phone number or locating a staff member. Staff responses and activities onsite are recorded once issues are resolved and submitted.
All of the information is recorded and viewable online so management can track resources and service to their customer.

The WANDA system was deployed as a pilot project by Crothall Healthcare across multiple properties in North America, including Mount Sinai Hospital (New York, NY), North York General Hospital (Toronto, ON), St Vincent Infirmary (Little Rock, AR), and Freeman Hospital (Joplin, MO), among others. The Pilot project met with great success and is now being considered for other properties across the Compass Group support services portfolio.
