Wizkid was the headline act at the first edition of the Booth Fest concert in South Africa which went down over the weekend.
The event which was held on Saturaday, November 24th at the Golden Harvest Park in Randburg featured a number of top South African artists like AKA, Distruction Boyz, Riky Rick, Babes Wodumo, Superstar Ace and more.
The concert which witnessed a massive turnout was hosted by Idols SA judge, Somizi Mhlongo and Mbali Nkosi.
Despite the complaints of technical failings which affected the sound at the concert, Wizkid assisted by DJ Spinall and a live band was still able to deliver a worthy performance as his setlist included songs like ‘Fake Love’, ‘Manya’, ‘Show You The Money’, ‘Nowo’, ‘Roll Up’ with Emtee and AKA before closing the show with ‘Soco’, which generated a wild response from the crowd.
Booth Fest is an annual outdoor luxury festival organized by Booth Nightclub Sandton in association with Channel O and paraded 14 live performances with 21 local DJs giving the crowd a night to remember.
